Board of Directors

Jill was appointed to the Board on 5 October 2022 and was appointed Non-Executive Chair on 1 September 2023. She is also Non-Executive Chair of Headland Consultancy and is a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Auto Trader Group plc, Ashtead Group plc, and UP Global Sourcing Holdings plc. She was previously Chief Executive Officer of Boden. This followed a 15 year career in a variety of senior management roles at Tesco plc, where she was a member of the Executive Committee.

Chris joined Tracsis in February 2019 as CEO Designate and became Chief Executive Officer in May 2019. Prior to joining Tracsis, Chris was Managing Director of Ricardo UK Limited's automotive consulting division. Chris has previously fulfilled a number of senior roles within Ricardo plc including Managing Director of Ricardo Software, New Ventures Director and Global Product Group Director. Chris started his career at Ford Motor Company before joining global management consultancy A.T.Kearney. Chris holds a Master's degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

Andy joined Tracsis as Chief Financial Officer in February 2021. Prior to this he spent eight years at The Vitec Group plc in a number of senior roles including Group Financial Controller and Divisional Finance Director. Before joining Vitec he held positions in finance and strategy at Anglo American plc and Carphone Warehouse plc. He is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Deloitte, and holds a first class degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

James joined the Board in September 2021. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of AB Dynamics plc, having held the position since 2018. Prior to this he was Group Managing Director at FTSE 250 listed Diploma PLC for six years where he delivered a series of successful international acquisitions. His previous career involved leadership positions predominantly in the aerospace and defence industry, including senior roles at Chemring Group PLC and Cobham PLC. James holds a PhD in engineering and is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Liz Richards joined the Board in 2016 and chairs the Audit Committee. She is a highly experienced executive and non-executive director with a career spanning the Financial Services, Data and Software sectors. After an early career with Lloyds Bank, Liz qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY. Liz was formerly CFO for Callcredit (now Transunion), a successful consumer data business, where as a founder member, she oversaw its rapid growth from start-up in 2000 to a £150m revenue business by 2015. Liz currently also holds Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair positions at both LINK Scheme Ltd and dotdigital plc, as well as two pro bono roles - Governor and Chair of Audit for Leeds Trinity University and Trustee and Chair of Finance and Investment for Yorkshire Cancer Research. She brings experience of high growth acquisitive business, and financial, audit and governance expertise to the Board at Tracsis.

Tracy was appointed to the Board on 1 September 2023 and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Tracy worked as Group HR Director of Croda International plc, the FTSE 100 global specialty chemicals company, for 7 years until retiring in 2023. Prior to that she held Group HR Director roles with UK listed businesses Fenner plc and Scapa Group plc, and other senior HR roles with a number of multi-national manufacturing businesses. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and is a Non-Executive Independent Member of the Governance and Remuneration Committee of Orbit Group.

Ross joined the Board on 2 April 2024. He is a non-executive director and chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at The Unite Group plc, and a member of the Business Policy Panel of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Ross has significant experience in operationally complex businesses, including over 24 years in the public transport sector. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Stagecoach Group plc, and a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of Virgin Rail Group Holdings Limited.

Chris joined Tracsis in May 2022 as Group Managing Director. Chris is a results-oriented technology executive with strategic sales and customer success leadership experience. He has domain expertise in ERP, asset management, IoT and analytics. He has also has experience of introducing leading edge technologies such as drone and autonomous driving capabilities. Chris has had experience of managing the entire value-chain of a technology company; from sales and marketing through to delivery and post-sales support. He has a deep commercial background and has been responsible for negotiating and delivering complex high value contracts. He has extensive international experience in all major regions of the world; North and South America, Asia and Oceania.

Katie joined Tracsis in 2021 as Group People Director. Prior to this Katie held a number of senior HR positions across various industries ranging from large organisations like BT and Barclays to technology SMEs. Katie’s early career experience spans Marketing, Operations and business improvement having been part of BT’s fast track leadership programme. She holds a degree in French and German from the University of Leeds and is a leadership coach.
