Tracsis Operational Performance

17 April 15

Tracsis has made a great start to the new financial year which is a direct result of the contribution of our various operating divisions, making a positive difference to both our business and the industry we serve.

Software
The Tracsis software division remains strong, reflecting the performance made by the addition of Datasys to the Tracsis Group in May 2014. As well as good levels of organic growth, the success of our Software division comes from innovation and investment in new developments, the growth of our technical resources in terms of manpower and expertise, the growth of our COMPASS activity in Scandinavia and a focus on exceptional client service.

Consultancy and services
The Tracsis consultancy division continues to be busy with the UK rail refranchising activity, where our consultancy team is currently aligned to support bidders for the Northern and Transpennine Express franchise bids. Our team are involved with several other major projects outside of franchise bid work and more opportunities of this nature are expected in future as the Group broadens its range of consultancy activities.

Remote condition monitoring
The Tracsis remote condition monitoring division has also performed well, successfully converting a number of new customers and continuing to support its major customer in the UK. The division continues to be active in overseas markets, notably piloting technology in North America.

Data Capture and Passenger Counting
The performance of our Data Capture and Passenger Counting part of the group continues to be strong. Recent highlight in activity include the completion of a number of Framework Agreements, proactive account management across the client base, several ad hoc client wins, and also the continuation of a large data collection piece of work for a major UK Transport agency. The division’s operations in Australia are also in line with expectations.
