DayOne shortlisted for the 2015 Modern Railways Industry Innovation Awards

01 June 15

The new Tracsis software application, DayOne, has been shortlisted for a Modern Railways Industry Innovation Award in the Operations and Performance category.

These prestigious Awards present all players in the railway industry with the chance to showcase their innovative ideas and push the rail industry forwards. The work undertaken by our developers will be celebrated at the Awards luncheon on 26th June at The Marriott in Grosvenor Square, London.

DayOne aims to engage frontline rail staff and work to provide those in remote locations of the rail network with real-time information on train movements, delays and incidents. It can improve understanding of the unique causes of delays, and help in communication with passengers, providing a more positive passenger experience.

Alex Robertson, Head of Sales and Marketing for Software, commented:

“We are honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist for this prestigious Award, and pleased that DayOne has been recognised as one of the leading innovative applications in today’s rail industry. It is a significant endorsement of our talented development team and our ability to deliver technical excellence”
