The afternoon of Friday 9th December showcased the very best that Yorkshire business, sport and philanthropy has to offer at the annual Yorkshire Business Awards in support of children’s charity Variety.
Tracsis plc was successful in beating off competition to win the SME of the Year Award, which was presented to CEO John McArthur at a festive awards ceremony by worldwide newsreader and journalist, Louise Minchin.
The event honoured some of the region’s top businesses with attendees treated to an inspirational address from veteran broadcaster Sir Trevor McDonald, a lively question and answer session with Olympic triathletes Alistair and Johnny Brownlee and a poignant posthumous award to the late MP Jo Cox whose life was tragically cut short during the summer.
On receiving the award, John McArthur commented:
"The companies we service are really good and we show that you do not have to be a big company to work with big companies. We are doing good things and hopefully we can continue to do that going forwards"
The judges recognised Tracsis as an organisation that is demonstrating its ability to grow or a strong potential to do so. The judges also recognised Tracsis' clear understanding of the market in which it operates and its future development within that marketplace, together with sound and measurable business practices.
