Following a transition period, Chris Barnes has now officially assumed the position of CEO at Tracsis plc.
Chris first joined the Tracsis team from Ricardo plc in February 2019. Prior to joining Tracsis, Chris was Managing Director of Ricardo UK Limited’s automotive consulting division. Chris has previously fulfilled a number of senior roles within Ricardo plc including Managing Director of Ricardo Software, New Ventures Director and Global Product Group Director. Chris started his career at Ford Motor Company before joining global management consultancy A.T.Kearney.
Tracsis’ long standing former CEO, John McArthur, has built the business over the past 15 years from a start-up, and will continue to work for Tracsis in a part time capacity, leading our M&A activities. He has decided to step down as CEO to focus on spending more time with his family.
John McArthur said, “I have every confidence in Chris and believe his experience, passion and ambition – combined with the significant talent of our existing team – will drive the business to new heights.”
