Many congratulations to John McArthur, CEO of Tracsis, who won the Yorkshire Company Director of the Year (plc) Award at the Yorkshire Business Awards 2016 that took place last week at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield.
The ceremony rewarded the people who are the inspiration and entrepreneurial drive behind many of Yorkshire's most successful businesses, and who make a significant contribution to their companies and the wider Yorkshire region. John has been CEO of Tracsis since its formation in January 2004 and led the IPO in 2007. He has led the business building a group with a dominant market position particularly in the UK with an increasing presence in overseas markets. He has delivered year on year growth with a share price that has increased tenfold over the last five years.
