Lapland is a unique concept and is expected to accommodate up to 200,000 people over the Christmas period from December to early January.
SEP have worked closely with Silverstone to develop a traffic plan, however in this case rather than traffic being incidental to the show, it is very much “The Show” itself, with families bringing their pimped up rides for a tour of the illuminated circuit.
We have deployed TLT to monitor track traffic flow, speed, and journey time to enable us to maintain an enjoyable experience for all, taking in the attractions around the circuit.
Following this we have marshals ready to guide you to the three drive-in cinema screens as the track experience comes to an end.
The creativity we are seeing during the pandemic and sheer determination to put events on, adapting to the challenges facing the industry are fantastic. We can do this, and we will do it together.
