Computer Aided Dispatch

Technology that eliminates the risk of human error

Tracsis’ CAD System is a train control platform that's both flexible and scalable to your railroad requirements. Future-proofed, it takes advantage of recent technological advances. This enables it to provide reliable functionality for all railroad control applications - whatever your operation uses.

Tracsis' graphically driven mainline Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) solution removes the risk of human error. It enforces a consistent ruleset helping dispatchers issue safe train movement authorities. It also integrates resource planning to keep your trains moving efficiently.

Products

Positive Train Control (PTC) - Dispatch and BOS - Tracsis DOC fully supports dispatching PTC-enabled railroads via ITC or E-ATC. No matter which type of PTC you prefer, we've got you covered.

Our BOS is compatible with third-party ITC PTC systems and can replace your existing BOS. Importantly, its user-friendly interface can be implemented into any computer aided dispatch (CAD) or other railroad management information system (MIS). The result is a system that's ITC PTC capable.

Centralised Traffic Control (CTC) - Dispatch - Railroads operating both freight and passenger services can greatly benefit from the Tracsis DOC system. This system enables the dispatch of all train types and services from a single platform, thanks to defined configuration parameters. Additionally, Tracsis DOC CTC integrates SCADA capabilities, allowing for the control and monitoring of various infrastructure elements such as wayside signals, power devices, substations, heaters, gates, and bridges. It also aids dispatchers in selecting the optimal route based on the availability of catenary or third rail power.

Track Warrant Control (TWC) & Direct Traffic Control (DTC) - Dispatch - The Digital Track Warrant (DTW) is a mobile app that offers rail workers securely authenticated approval to access safe track points, driving progressive digital change across the US rail infrastructure. This innovative solution enhances operational safety and performance by eliminating the risk of human error, boosting protection for maintenance workers, and promoting a stronger safety culture. By reducing manual paper processes, DTW increases efficiency and saves time, while ensuring accuracy and accountability through logged transactions. It also ensures that both dispatchers and maintainers have consistent and reliable information.

Digital Track Authority (DTA) is a mobile app that provides rail workers securely authenticated approval to access safe track points. DTA facilitates progressive digital change across rail infrastructure.
