The Tracsis Bugle User Day proves to be a great success amongst Train Operators
25 October 17
The User Day for Tracsis' most widely recognised train performance software application, Bugle, took place at the Manchester MalMaison Hotel on 3rd October.
Bugle software captures and analyses both the 'how' and 'why' of train service performance - how the service has been running, what has been causing delays, why the service is not performing as planned and who is the best placed to address these issues.
The User Day was attended by representatives from the performance teams of UK Train Operating Companies including Virgin Trains, GTR and SouthEastern.
Some individuals travelled great distances to Manchester to see the highlights of the day which included a presentation on getting the very best out of Tracsis’ reporting tool, Acumen with Jim Pepper of Virgin Trains East Coast and a session from Network Rail and the Rail Delivery Group, outlining the new performance metrics in CP6.
The attendees also engaged in workshops with our software developers, discussing the various ways in which we could enhance our performance software to address the requirements of the new CP6 metrics.
They were also treated to a ‘first look’ at the new Bugle (ADF version) release, which includes many improvements to the system including a new smart dashboard that can be personalised to the needs and performance reporting requirements of each individual Train Operator.
Overall, the day was a great success, with some comments from the various attendees included below:
"I found all the slots really useful. There were a few good tips in the Jim Pepper slides that I am going to put into Bugle our end and looking forward to Bugle ADF introduction”
