Serial Signal Monitoring

Our Serial Signal Dataloggers offer a smart, non-intrusive method for capturing and analysing real-time data from critical rail systems.

Serial Dataloggers for Smarter Rail Asset Monitoring

Designed to interface directly with standard serial ports and maintenance feeds, these dataloggers enable seamless monitoring of a wide range of trackside assets, including complex interlockings, track circuits, axle counters, and level crossing controllers, without interfering with normal operations.

Our serial signal logging capability is delivered through a set of easily configurable devices that support remote monitoring across analogue, digital, and serial channels, offering unmatched flexibility for both new and legacy infrastructure.

Used throughout the rail network by both our teams and customers, these dataloggers play a crucial role in enhancing fault detection, performance analysis, and maintenance response times.

Once deployed, they transmit high-fidelity data automatically to our Centrix platform, where it can be visualised in context, compared across systems, and turned into actionable insights. With support for alerts, diagnostics, and event timelines, Centrix enables operators to proactively identify emerging issues, streamline investigations, and make more informed decisions — all while reducing on-site intervention and operational disruptions.

Together, our serial dataloggers and Centrix platform form a scalable, modern toolkit for digital maintenance and performance management in today’s rail networks.
